Image Analysis
The main aim of the Image Analysis unit is to offer the service of assessing the quality of semen in livestock species through the use of sperm analysis tests.
Being able to predict the fertilising capacity of semen is of great importance in livestock production in order to select males with a higher reproductive value.
In recent years there have been significant developments in the field of animal reproduction, which is intimately linked to the application of artificial insemination. This technique has enabled maximum use of the genetic potential of high-value breeding animals, perfecting our control of the entire reproductive process and improving livestock farms with optimal reproductive yields.
